We are happy to present Alexander Mourant (UK) as the first artist to NOUAs new Project Room series. In the project room the audience will meet Mourant’s artistic research and learn about the processes behind his long term projects. Mourant’s practice is a deeply rooted investigation into photography, writing, performance and sculpture, and seeks to uncover a parallelism between action and theoretical discourse.

Alexander Mourant is an artist, educator and writer based in London.Solo shows include Aomori at The Old Truman Brewery and Unseen Amsterdam, alongside group shows at Edel Assanti, Saatchi Gallery, Seen Fifteen Gallery, Peckham 24 and Photo50, London Art Fair.  Mourant is a recipient of grants from ArtHouse Jersey, Jersey Bursary and Arts Council England. He has won the Free Range Award and was nominated for the Foam Paul Huf Award.
